LOS ANGELES — FeedMorphers.com has announced the launch of its turnkey RSS feed system targeting adult webmaster affiliate programs.

No longer are the days where affiliates will stand for sub par RSS feeds!  According to feedback from a GFY poll an amazing 94% of affiliates promote using blogs.  Granted there’s a margin of error here, but it’s still a wake up call for the industry.

I run a couple of blog networks and blog hosts and one of the most frustrating things for me when running my ‘feed driven’ network was the total lack of quality RSS feeds.

What exactly was driving me nuts about 98% of the feeds I used?

1 small, lo-res photo with 4 words of text was the norm.

This is absolutely worthless for bloggers.  Adult bloggers need LOTS of text with relevant keywords, food for the spiders and the readers.

Feeds were updated rarely if ever at all.

So here I had 20 RSS feeds added to my auto-poster.  Guess how many new posts my blogs saw every day?  An average of about 1.5 per day if I was lucky.

Feeds were static, both the photos and text.

The feeds I was pulling were static, meaning the text (or lack thereof) and media were the same exact thing every affiliate of that program were posting on their blogs.  That means in the search engines my blogs were being lumped together with all the other affiliates deeming them totally ineffective.  On top of that I was getting penalized by the search engines for having duplicate content all over my blogs (you, sir, are a splogger!).
